Acceptable Use

Scope

These rules apply to ndpmv.org, every product we publish, uploads, license keys, and payments.

They are part of the Terms of Use. A breach can lead to removal of content, suspension, or end of access.

We can change these rules. The date on this page is the current version.

Rights and copyright

Use only media, music, fonts, shaders, HTML, and other content that you own or that you have permission to use.

A purchase of a track or clip does not give you the right to host that file in a cloud library we provide.

We respect copyright. Rights holders can send a notice as the Reports section describes.

Repeat infringement can end the account. We can remove alleged infringing files while we review a notice.

Prohibited content

Do not upload, host, generate, or play content in these classes. This applies to cloud libraries, local import, HTML media, screen share, custom looks, and plugin projects.

• Sexual content that involves a person under 18, or any child sexual abuse material.
• Non-consensual intimate images or recordings.
• Content that exploits, grooms, or endangers a minor.
• Content you have no right to use, including stolen media and leaked private files.
• Malware, exploits, or instructions whose purpose is to attack people or systems.
• Content that promotes terrorism, human trafficking, or other serious crime.
• Content that incites unlawful violence against a person or group.
• Stolen personal data, government IDs, payment card numbers, or medical records that you have no right to store.
• Phishing pages, fraud, or deceptive money schemes.
• Content that is otherwise illegal where you use the service or where we operate.

Cloud libraries and media sources

A cloud library is private storage for your desk. It is not a public file locker, a CDN, or a sharing site for other people.

Do not use it to store bulk data that is unrelated to a project in our products. Do not resell hosted storage. Do not pool caps across accounts.

HTML media, screen share, and custom looks are part of the service where a product offers them. The same content rules apply to them.

• Do not load HTML that steals credentials, mines cryptocurrency, or attacks the browser.
• Do not use HTML media as a proxy, scanner, crawler, or relay.
• Do not capture another person's screen, desk, or private display without permission.
• Do not upload a shader or look whose purpose is to crash, overheat, or damage hardware beyond normal GPU load.

Service security

Do not harm people, systems, networks, or venues through the service. Do not test or bypass security controls without written permission.

Do not scrape, flood, or overload the service. Do not evade a rate limit, an asset cap, a seat cap, or a plan gate.

Do not access another account. Do not share login secrets or license keys to avoid a seat or a price.

Do not impersonate NDPMV, a venue, or another person.

Plugins and host applications

Do not crack, patch, or bypass a host application to run a plugin we publish.

Do not redistribute a plugin build, a license key, or an activation receipt.

Do not use a plugin to attack the host, other plugins, or the machine.

Payments

Do not use a stolen, shared, or unauthorized payment method. Do not launder value through checkout.

Do not open multiple accounts to evade a limit, a suspension, or a price.

Do not dispute a valid charge in bad faith. Contact us first if a charge looks wrong.

Live-event safety

If you use a product in a live event, keep your browser, device, cables, displays, and audio levels safe for the venue. Test the output before the event. Keep a fallback for important shows.

Strobe, flash, and high-contrast motion can harm people with photosensitive conditions. Warn the room when the set uses intense flash.

Venue safety, sound levels, and audience welfare stay your responsibility.

Restricted persons

Do not use the service if sanctions law that applies to you or to us forbids that use.

Do not use the service to evade sanctions or export controls.

Enforcement

We can review reports. We do not promise to watch every file. We can still remove content or suspend access when we find a breach.

We can delete uploads, block an upload, disable a feature, revoke a license key, or end the account.

Where the law requires it, we can report illegal content to the authorities.

To the extent that law permits, a suspension for a breach of these rules does not create a refund. Mandatory consumer rights stay in force.

Reports

Report a security issue, illegal content, or a copyright claim through the contact form, or email info@ndpmv.org.

For a copyright claim, state your name, the work, why you have the right, and where the file sits.

For illegal content, state the location of the file or the output and why it is illegal. Do not send the illegal file itself if that would spread it.

Do not publish private user data or an active exploit. Do not send a false report.
